Custodian/Janitor

This is a 17 acre industrial building that sits on 52 acres.
Duties - Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished - Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and sanitation standards Qualifications - Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
