Description
Albion College invites applications for the Programmer / Business Analyst position.

The Programmer/Business Analyst provides business and technical support to one or more business units at the institution.
Works to understand the business needs of the client, and provides definition, analytical and programming in support of those needs.
Information is generally provided through real-time software applications or through reporting tools.
Information customers include students as well as employees in the administrative and academic arenas.
The Programmer /Business Analyst works to understand and document the business processes supporting the customers, and the customer’s information and application business requirements.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload working closely with customers to translate business needs into finished business systems.

Position Duration: 12 months per year
Qualifications
Track record of successful customer relationships
Minimum AA Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Computer Science or IT-related major, minor, or coursework required, or commensurate experiences
Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational database experience is required
Minimum of 3 years programming experience with SQL, PL/SQL or similar
Familiarity with developer tools and report writers preferred
Web development, HTML, JAVA experience preferred
Google coding experience preferred
Experience with Higher Education ERPs desired, with Ellucian Banner experience strongly preferred
Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems desired, with specific Slate by Technolutions experience strongly preferred
