Reports to: Food Service Manager
Job Overview:
Responsible for customer satisfaction through positive and effective communication with customers, as well as the efficient operation of the store.
Responsible for providing the Food Service Manager with the help that he or she requires to keep it in top running order.
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to:
Coach and support other team members
Train new employees
Ability to communicate disciplinary issues to Food Service Manager
Maintain and monitor store inventory
Ensure that the store is safe, clean, and presentable for customers
Process daily paperwork and deposit store monies in bank on Store Manager’s days off
Handling customer queries and complaints
Overseeing pricing and stock control
Ability to operate cash register, computer, adding machine, and other basic office machines
Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 40 degrees for up to 30 minutes
Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or hazmat situation
Follows company quality, safety, and environmental guidelines
Ability to occasionally work alone
Ability to handle high levels of stress
Regular and reliable attendance
Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness
Preferred Qualifications/Experience/Education
High School Diploma or equivalent education
Must pass background screenings
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Must possess strong leadership, management, team-building, and communication skills
