Yard Supervisor - OmniSource

Responsibilities: What you will do Manage, supervise and direct union employees in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Ensure compliance in safety, environmental, quality and personnel programs within the plant.
Assist Plant Manager with the day to day operations of the facility.
Fill in as needed in daily yard operations (scale office, retail, equipment operator, buyer,grader).
All other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: What we look for Understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train and motivate others.
Ability to operate multiple types of material handling equipment (Crane, Loader, Forklift).
Valid Commercial Vehicle Drivers License or ability to obtain.
Minimum of one year supervisory or lead experience in an industrial setting.
Experience working in a union environment is preferred.
