Our operations encompass both automated machinery and skilled manual craftsmanship, contributing to the creation of high-quality pallets, boxes and crates.
As a testament to our commitment to sustainability, our on-site sister company, Mulch Wholesalers, transforms excess raw material into premium mulch, serving local landscape yards, contractors, and the public.
During the winter months, we extend our offerings to include bag and bulk salt sales.
Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to join our team as a Production Manager/Operations Manager/Business Manager.
In collaboration with the business owner and the current operations manager, the chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations.
This multifaceted role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities ranging from office work and scheduling to production management and ensuring customer satisfaction.
While the position involves office and computer work, we are looking for an individual eager to contribute across various facets of our operations.
Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the business owner and operations manager to oversee daily operations.
* Undertake office work, scheduling, and production management duties.
* Maintain a hands-on approach, operating lift trucks and large equipment to facilitate daily production needs.
* Contribute to the development of manufacturing processes, operating procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Work collaboratively with the existing team to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
Requirements: * Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
* Willingness to actively engage in all areas of operations and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
* Ability to operate lift trucks and large equipment confidently.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in developing and implementing manufacturing processes and KPIs.

This postion is 50-55 hours per week from 5:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday until noon.
