*Job Summary*
Run 1 machine with assistance while focusing on learning how to properly operate an automatic screw machine.
*Job Responsibilities*
* Run 1 machine with assistance from an experienced operator
* Learn/ perform production and maintenance practices
* Startup/ shut down, cycle start/ cycle stop, stock machine, shaving management, clean out machine, lube/grease/oil maintenance, cutoff sharpening, form sharpening, shave sharpening, drill sharpening, tool alignment, set roll supports, set shave heads, maintain/ adjust lockup tensions, understand setup sheet/ machine layout/ positions.
* Learn/ perform quality practices
* Follow job packet/ OIIS/ SOPs, gauge checks, 3 gate system, FPGP/LPGP, short part sensor, blueprints, SPC, comparator, special alerts and scrap accountability
* Learn/ perform communication practices
* Complete and submit daily production sheet
* Complete start of shift and end of shift checklists
* Report issues to supervisor, lead or setups and complete required documentation

* Able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods
* Able to work in warm temperatures
* Able to tolerate noise and oil
* Flexible to work shifts, overtime and weekends as required
* Follow all company policies
