We're in search of a Steel Detailer to join our design department.
As a member of our design team, you'll play a significant role in driving change within the agricultural industry and your local community.
Our specialization lies in designing and constructing feed and grain food processing facilities of all scales across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.
Within this role, you'll have the chance to collaborate with cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading resources, including the application of 3D scanning and robotic welding.

Your role would entail:
• Generating detailed steel drawings from 3D models using Advance Steel to facilitate fabrication and construction documentation for various projects.
• Collaborating with the design manager and/or engineers to prepare detailed drawings and be able to output several different types of files for automated fabrication machinery and fabrication software.
• Overseeing fabrication documents from their initial creation to the construction administration phase.
• Creating precise structural models and detailed drawings based on sketches.
Qualifications:
• Willingness to commute or relocate as necessary.
• Profound familiarity with the Advance Steel, and Navisworks software environments.
• Solid grasp of the construction and fabrication document process.
• Ability to optimize detailing productivity and streamline workflows.
• Adeptness in meeting demanding project schedule deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
While not mandatory, the following would be advantageous:
• Prior experience in steel detailing is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with software tools like Revit, Tekla, SDS2, Trimble Connect, and Autodesk Recap.
• Proficiency in working with 3D scan data to generate Revit models.
