The Maintenance Manager provides technical, mechanical, and electrical support throughout the manufacturing facility with a heavy focus on preventive maintenance and safe workplace practices.
Responsible for the planning, scheduling, assignment, and coordination and/or execution of the activities to ensure equipment availability that supports production, and the facility needs.
*Position Responsibilities*
* Equipment strategy, design, and planning.
Planning is tied to equipment arrivals.
* Supervise maintenance staff including maintenance engineers and technicians.
* Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
* Maintaining all machinery to ensure it is at working standards.
* Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.
* Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
* Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
* Ensuring all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
* Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates.
* Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
* Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
* Manage relationships with outside subcontractors and suppliers.
* Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
* Monitor electrical and other machinery to ensure functionality.
* Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities for the manufacturing facility.
* Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
* Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
* Tracking expenses, reporting progress, and assigning schedules.
* Distributing all required material to suppliers/contractors before coming on site.
* Health and safety management.
Understand the significant HSE risks for which you have principal responsibility and ensure controls are implemented.
* Implementing a predictive, reactive, or preventative maintenance approach.
Report and help track metrics to be communicated to leadership that track KPIs, cost, powered and non-powered equipment performance and overall maintenance standards.

*Position Requirements*
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred or successful completion certificate from a vocational school.
* Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, robot, thermal heating systems and mechanical systems, in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Experience in planning maintenance operations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent leadership and management skills.
* Outstanding organization and leadership abilities.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members.
* Competent in problem solving, team building, planning, hands on support, and decision making.
* Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
