We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Oil Well Pumper to join our dynamic field operations team.
This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our oil extraction sites.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil industry, with hands-on experience in well operations, maintenance, and a commitment to safety and environmental standards.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Pumping Operations:
* Monitor and manage the operation of beam pumps and other artificial lift methods.
* Regularly inspect equipment and perform troubleshooting to ensure continuous operation.
* Accurately record gauge readings, and maintain consistent and detailed operational reports.
Rig Work:
* Assist in rig operations as required.
Well Site Maintenance:
* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of well sites to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
* Identify, report, and mitigate any potential hazards or issues at the well site.
* Manage the upkeep of site appearance, including the management of tools and equipment.
Equipment Maintenance:
* Conduct regular maintenance checks on all operational equipment to prevent downtime and costly repairs.
* Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule repairs and replacements for faulty equipment.
* Ensure that all maintenance activities are logged and documented as per company policies.
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in petroleum engineering, mechanical maintenance, or a related field is a plus but not necessary.
* Proven experience as an Oil Well Pumper or in a similar role within the oil industry.
* Strong understanding of oil field operations and equipment.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
