Position Purpose:
The Supply Chain Specialist (SCS) is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day supply chain needs are met for off the shelf and simple/mature components.
Education & Experience:
Typically, 0-2 years' related experience.
Bachelor's degree required; Degrees in supply chain, logistics, or business preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.
) ·
Excellent verbal and written communication
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Purchases products and has ownership for suppliers or services with limited complexity and lower piece price; Ex.
off-the-shelf components or simple and mature AvaSure-designed products.
Communicating quality issues and material returns with suppliers with support from other supply chain, engineering, quality, and manufacturing team members.
Implementation of cost savings that are 1/2 of their annual salary.
Works with suppliers to resolve supply issues.
Assess and manage inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply to pre-determined levels.
Directed to complete data entry and process related updates.

Must be able to work in an office/light production environment.
Must be able to sit for much of the workday with periodic walking and/or standing.
This position is full-time.
This position is hybrid, 3 days per week onsite in Belmont, MI, the other days are remote work.
