*Job Summary*
Under the general direction of the Head of Public Services and as part of the Public Services team, this position designs, delivers, and evaluates library programming and outreach services for patrons of all ages, in addition to serving the public on our circulation desks.
*Hours Required*
This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position scheduled for approximately 25-32 hours weekly.

*Qualifications and Skills*
Position requirements include, but aren't limited to:
* high school diploma or GED;
* experience working with children and their caregivers, teens, adults, and/or seniors in a workplace setting;
* reliable transportation and the ability to travel to offsite locations during the workday;
* organization skills necessary to manage numerous tasks with frequent interruptions; general knowledge and understanding of public libraries, common library collections, and popular cultural trends;
* ability to work under general supervision with latitude in exercising independent judgement and discretion, subject to library policies, procedures, and professional practices;
* ability to establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships and use good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness when dealing with the public, coworkers, and supervisors.
