Summary
Individual will demonstrate the necessary abilities, knowledge and personal qualities to skillfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Teacher shall be employed by the Board of Education upon recommendation by the Superintendent.
Provides appropriate instruction.
Maintains parent communications; conferences, email, telephone, written
Is available to students and parents for conferences.
Interacts in a professional manner with students and parents.
Supervises the behavior of students at all times.
Responds to problems by following appropriate channels to find a solution.
Assesses and encourages student progress.
Monitors daily attendance of students and learning environment.
Follows professional practices consistent with school and system policies in working with students, students’ records, parents and colleagues.
Complies with school district, county, state administrative regulations and Board of Education policies.
Acts in a professional manner and assumes responsibility for the total school program, its safety and good order.
Demonstrates professional practices in teaching.
Supports the mission and vision of Napoleon Community Schools.
Qualification Requirements
Completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher program
Individual must have a philosophy compatible with Board of Education policy, possesses a personal attitude congenial with other faculty and staff

Applicants who receive a conditional offer of employment for a position with Napoleon Community Schools will be required to successfully complete a background check.
Employment Date, Salary and Fringe Benefits
Anticipated employment date 2024-2025 school year.
Salary will be per master contract.
